Saathi Special School is a special school in Hyderabad for children on the autism spectrum, children with ADHD and children with specific learning disabilities.
Our approach
Six things we hold to, every term
None of these is a slogan — each one shows up as something the platform will or will not let a member of staff do.
Assess before you place
A child's group, level and support intensity come from a structured assessment across 18 domains — not from age, and not from a first impression.
Three streams, one plan
Academics and cognition; speech, communication and behaviour; and physical and occupational therapy each have an owner — but the child has one IEP, not three.
Teach to strengths
Every child has a strengths profile — interests, talents, sensory preferences, what actually motivates them — and activities are matched against it.
Measure honestly
Progress comes from session data. If an objective has stalled, the system says so rather than waiting for a review meeting to notice.
Families inside the loop
Parents sign the IEP, see the plan, run home activities and can withdraw a consent at any time.
Paper still works
Printed session sheets, registers and ABC forms exist for the days the power or the network does not.
